Downtown LIVE

DOWNTOWN LIVE

Downtown Live is a community event that takes place four times every year along Broad, Front, and adjoining streets. Our downtown clubs, restaurants, and shops stay open later to meet you!

Come and enjoy unique art produced live, meet the artists behind the masterpieces, enjoy live music and other entertainment, do some shopping, and stop at one of our downtown restaurants for dinner before or after. This event is family friendly and free to the public.

Texarkana Downtown Trolley confirmed with stops at the parking lot next to the Landmark Building (210 N. State Line Ave); Patterson Place (214 W. 3rd); Ace of Clubs (420 Pine); Photographer's Island (in front of Post Office); Parking Lot across from Hopkins/next to Zapata's & AMA; Intersection of Wood and East Broad; Intersection of Olive and East Broad; Front at Olive (next to Concho Railhouse; across from 1923 Banana Club; intersection of Broad Street & State Line Avenue.

That Vintage Vibe and Southern Grace Baby Boutique will be open!

Tee It Up Will offer demo time of $15 for 15 minutes of play. Putt to win a koozie or poker chip ball marker!
The Museum of Regional History will be open for free, self-guided tours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the historic Ace of Clubs House will offer two guided tours, at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ace tour tickets are available now at texarkanamuseums.org.

Each year contestants get into the Christmas spirit by decorating and lighting up your store windows for the Main Street Texarkana Christmas parade!
First, second and third place winners are announced annually night of the parade.

Oktoberfest is back!

Oktoberfest on Main Street is a celebration of community, culture, and fun in honor of the late Bill Scurlock, a successful entrepreneur and a staple of Downtown Texarkana for many years! We anticipate

welcoming more than 1,000 enthusiastic in-town and out-of-town guests every year, providing fun games, live music, food, drinks, and a family-friendly atmosphere.


WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR

New breweries including: 

- Four State Fermenters 

- Lost Forty Brewery, Little Rock 

- Southern Tail Brewing, Little Rock 

- The Eagle

- Fat Jacks 

Kids Activities: 

- Facepainting 

- Hair Braiding

- Inflatable Obstacle Course 

- Bounce Houses 

- Basketball Hoops 

- Exotic Petting Zoo, including a llama and a kangaroo! 

Bier Olympics: 

- $50 per 2 person team

- All proceeds are a donation to Main St 

- Competition from 6pm-7pm

- 1st place wins $300

- Weenie toss, Stein Holding, Keg Rolling

Entertainment on Front Street Stage: 

- Jase & Heather Linn at 5pm-630pm 

- German Variety Show Performances at 6:45, 7:15 & 7:45

- Common Ground at 8pm
