Who Qualifies?
- Location must be in Arkansas Main Street District
- Exterior improvement projects only
- Projects approved at the State Level
- This is a matching grant. The Improvement Grant matches facade exterior improvement costs dollar for dollar as available.
- Deadline for applications is Spring.
- Funds up to $5,000
- Most projects are matched at the $1,500 - $2,500 level.
- A Certificate of Appropriateness may be required to complete project. Check with the city of Texarkana, Arkansas for details about how to apply for a Certificate of Appropriateness
